January Market Stats are in!



Below is a comparison of January stats compared to January 2021. The amount of new listings continued to drop, actually down to a never seen before low in the Charleston market. We saw an increase in the amount of showings per listing in the first time in a few years, which may mean there are a lot more buyers out there or sellers are allowing their home to be shown more before going contingent because the days on market is still down about 50% in most markets vs. 2021. Price per square foot continues to be considerably higher, many areas, namely Daniel Island and Mt Pleasant showings increases of over 25%.
