April Client of the Month: The Muffin Drop!

Tasty Treats Built With Purpose.

"My name is Emily Eldh, your baker at The Muffin Drop! For many years I suffered with severe autoimmune issues. This manifested in many ways, but specifically in Hashimoto's which effected my thyroid function. After I was shown plant-based eating as an option for healing, I changed my lifestyle and began the journey of using food as medicine. I’ve been completely plant-based or “vegan”, as well as gluten-free since 2016. It has truly changed my life. Once I made this shift the amount of time I spent in the kitchen was exponential. I began experimenting with different forms of plant-based flours, eggs, milks - you name it - building different delicious recipes that even I couldn't believe were made of plants. One recipe I couldn't stop testing though was for vegan and gluten-free banana chocolate chip mini muffins. So here we are after years of perfecting this recipe, with several other muffin flavors built from it! We hope that you love them too 💛"

Mouthwatering plant-powered muffins? Say what! Hand-scooped in Charleston, SC ✨ Even though our muffin drops are vegan & gluten-free, you'd never know it. Each bite is so moist, fluffy & flavorful that the only thing you'll be thinking is "more!" From fiber rich flaxseed to protein dense almond flour, every ingredient we bake with has been thoughtfully chosen. Food that makes your tastebuds happy & your body too! We love that.

She will be at Brownfox this Saturday ( & every Tuesday) and Holy City Farmers Market on Sunday. All her other events/schedule can be found through her Instagram @themuffindrop
